II. Causes & Solutions
(1) Water Circuit Issues (≈70% cases)
- Insufficient Water Flow
- Causes: Pump failure/undersizing, clogged Y-strainer, partially closed valves, air pockets, low water level
- Solutions:
- Verify pump operation and measure current to ensure compatibility
- Clean filters (monthly recommended)
- Purge air from the system, check for pipe kinks
- Inspect water replenishment valves and level sensors.
- Reduced Heat Exchanger Efficiency
- Causes: Scaling in condenser (hard water areas), blockage in water-side heat exchanger
- Solutions:
- Flush with 15% phosphoric acid for 20 minutes (avoid copper corrosion);
- Install water softeners to prevent recurring scaling.
(2) Refrigeration System Issues (≈25% cases)
- Excessive Refrigerant or Blockage
- Causes: Overcharged refrigerant, clogged expansion valve, welding slag obstruction

- Recover excess refrigerant to nameplate specifications;
