Cooling Process
Indoor air is the heat source for refrigeration mode, and heat is transferred to the outdoors - the indoor coil serves as the evaporator and the outdoor coil serves as the condenser.
Step 1: Warm household air is blown through the coil of the indoor unit. The cold liquid refrigerant in the pipeline absorbs heat. The fan blows the cooled air through the pipes and vents in the home. Refrigerant evaporates into gas during heating.
Step 2: The refrigerant gas travels to the outdoor unit to transfer heat to the outside. Firstly, the gas enters the compressor for pressurization. The temperature of the gas increases as a result.
Step 3: Hot compressed refrigerant gas flows through the coil of the outdoor unit, while the fan blows air. The heat energy stored in the refrigerant is transferred to the outdoor air, and the refrigerant condenses into a liquid during cooling.
Step 4: Liquid refrigerant flows into the expansion valve to reduce its pressure. As a result, the temperature of the liquid decreases - the refrigerant circulates back into the room in a cold liquid, repeating this process.
