Aircal's latest product, electric heater, can assist heat pumps in improving heating efficiency and assisting in their continuous operation.
Temperature sensor protection
Temperature sensors are a critical component of any process heating application, as they provide temperature feedback about the process and can be used to monitor or control the process.
Placing the temperature sensor in the coldest expected position of the system will help maintain the process above the required minimum temperature, while placing the temperature sensor in the hottest expected position will ensure that the process never exceeds the required or allowed maximum temperature.
Thermal switch protection
The flow switch can also protect the backup electric heater in the water tank, preventing overheating when the flow is insufficient.
Flow switches are commonly used in heating circuits. The most common application is air water heat pumps. Lack of flow in the heating circuit during cooling or defrosting mode may cause partial freezing of the heat exchanger. The flow switch helps prevent the heat exchanger from freezing.
Water flow detection
Control the amount of hot water used by the heat pump to prevent continuous heating and dry burning of the heat pump.
