France Boosts Public Support For Heat Pump Industry

The French energy agency ADEME has supported the application of renewable energy heat generation in industry, district heating and multi-family housing since 2009.

• The budget for the National Subsidy Scheme  will continue to increase, from EUR 2.4 billion to EUR 4.2 billion in 2017
• The French Energy Agency is soliciting proposals for large-scale solar energy projects with a heat collection area of ​​more than 300 square meters and district heating projects with a heat collection area of ​​more than 500 square meters for multi-family residences, industries, hospitals, etc. Public support will cover 50% to 70% of the initial research cost and 45% to 65% of the total investment cost.

 

At the beginning of March this year, France tried to get rid of its dependence on natural gas. Leading people's environmental awareness; clearly stated that the installation subsidy for heat pumps will be increased to 1100 euros

  

• Heating in winter accounts for about a quarter of global energy consumption. Most means of heating require burning coal, natural gas or oil. In achieving the goal of curbing the world's climate change, the product with the greatest alternative potential is the home heat pump system.
• The heat pump water heater is the rational use of low-grade heat energy in nature, forcing the heat to enter from the outside and heating the space. Because they're just moving existing heat around, they're very efficient: heat pumps can get 3 times as much heat or more for every 1 part of electricity they use, making them more cost-effective than electric radiators. At the same time, running the heat pump in reverse can cool the room. The application of solar heat pump water heater in energy-saving buildings can not only bring a comfortable living environment, improve energy efficiency, but also promote indoor air improvement and effectively avoid greenhouse gas emissions, which is of great significance to achieve carbon neutrality.
